Photograph-friendly dual 600-dpi CCDs (charge-coupled devices) scan both sides of a document at once for maximum efficiency, and the scanner's selectable dual interface accepts either SCSI-2 or USB 1.1 connectivity. It also comes equipped with Adobe Acrobat 5.0 software to convert any document into an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file.
